We are seeking an experienced CSS/GUI Designer who is very proficient with Cascading Style Sheet Design, GUI strategy/design/implementation; CSS based graphic design and layout. The position is full-time and is based in our main office in El Segundo, CA. Just minutes from the beach, our main office offers a creative team-based environment full of energy. The CSS/GUI Designer will report directly to the production team manager. This position will help build the next-generation of web 2.0 interfaces for our diverse portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement web interfaces using primarily CSS, XHTML, and Javascript
- Build front end report and data processing interfaces
- Create flow charts of GUI’s for clients
Requirements:
- B.S. Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of CSS, XHTML, and Javascript (at least 3+ years)
- Experience coding CSS sites powered by backend PHP applications and frameworks
- Experience with working on the Adobe Creative Suite platform; Versions 3 and 4.
- Strong Knowledge of W3C standards
- 3+ years experience with data driven CSS design and implementation
- Advanced knowledge of browser compatibility, mainly IE and Firefox

This is a full time job; you will be working for a well established entrepreneurial company whose growth is tremendous, approximately 250%-300% annually and was ranked a top 20 entrepreneurial startup company on the west coast by the prestigious Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO). Hours and compensation will vary accordingly with skill level; however compensation will be well above average and annual performance-based bonuses average at 10-20% of salary.
